NSClient Error – Could not get data for

Nagios Logo I started receiving an error in Nagios that stated:  NSClient – Error: Could not get data for 10 perhaps we don’t collect data this far back?  I started researching the issue, and the obvious solutions weren’t working. NSClient Error

When troubleshooting errors with NSClient, the easiest (and quickest) way to resolve the issue is to enable logging.  You can do this by editing your nsc.ini file and uncommenting the file line:

CURL Introduction

Curl is free and open software that compiles and runs under a wide variety of operating systems.

How to monitor a remote Windows host using Nagios?

Now it is time to move to some remote Windows host machine to configure with Nagios but before moving activate and configure windows.cfg file on your Nagios Server. If you havn't install a nagios server please follow HowTo "How to install Nagios on CentOS?"

Edit Nagios.cfg

[you@yourmachine  nagios] vi /etc/nagios/nagios.cfg
-------------------------------------------------------
-------------------------------------------------------
#cfg_file=/etc/nagios/objects/windows.cfg
-------------------------------------------------------

Remove the leading comments symbol “#” from nagios.cfg. Save it and exit.

Welcome again lets proceed to monitor a remote Linux host, before moving we need to activate and configure a linux_server.cfg file on Nagios Server. If you havn't install a nagios server please follow HowTo "How to install Nagios on CentOS?"

[you@yourmachine  nagios] touch  /etc/nagios/objects/linux_server.cfg
[you@yourmachine  nagios] chown nagios.  /etc/nagios/objects/linux_server.cfg
[you@yourmachine  nagios] vi  /etc/nagios/objects/linux_server.cfg

Paste the code below in to the file
