How to change boot loader while deleting kernel partition/OS?

You have partitioned harddisk into 3 partitions,

Part 1: W2K Pro
Part 2: Data
Part 3: Fedora 5

You have just deleted Fedora partition in W2K and have a trouble that Grub stand front of boot.ini of Windows and now you can’t boot in Windows.

Boot with a Windows emergency boot disk and run:

fdisk /mbr

…or

Boot with the Windows XP installation CD and from the recovery console type:

fixmbr

Either one should rewrite the MBR allowing you to reboot into Windows.
